This film was produced within a workshop title Moments of Movement conducted by artist-in-residence of the Kulturakademie Tarabya, Eva Maria Stotz, at Bahçeşehir University Istanbul April 2016.

While the refugee crisis has received a great deal of media coverage, the portrayal of refugees is usually very one-dimensional. To counter that narrative and give voice to the people affected by this, German filmmaker Eva Maria Stotz conducted a four-week workshop, pairing members of the displaced community with film students to work as a team and produce short films focusing on the power of individual moments in shaping lives.
